Outtake TV certainly had a real audience when it was hosted by Paul O'Grady. Not sure about under Anne Robinson. And I'm sure more of the Catherine Tate show was with a real laughter track.


A call for audiences for Robbo's Outtake TV sporadically turns up on the BBC Tickets website and SROAudiences. The last couple of new shows were recorded at Capital Group Studios, rather than the normal TC4 studio.

Whether no-one actually applied for tickets so the laughter.wav file was dipped into for the last series I don't know.

Look,Jonathan Wilkes is like CiTV's Andy.He was a bit boring and maybe would do better acting.But I think the "I haven't got a catchphrase" thing was quite cool.

I'm still a fan of You've Been Framed but I rather prefer the older format to the current one. Jeremy Beadle was a rather good presenter IMO with the in vision segments, when Lisa Riley took over near 1998/9 she was good but not as good as Beadle though. One of my most remembered clips is the one with the sheep gathering around to spell YBF.
