They really need to go back to the days of the studio... even if it does mean Jonathan Wilkes.
No no no no no no no! Never again. The studio bits were just cringeable. The show works fine with Harry in its current format with categories of clips as well imo. It just needs more new clips!
The thing I don't like about YBF these days is there seems to be a lot more clips sourced from equivalent shows in other countries... particularly America... although some of them are quite funny.
Could the increase of clips from other countries mean that Brits are losing interest in the programme, particularly with all the tweaks its had over the years and the numerous presenter changes? The production team do seem a bit desperate for new material these days...
Hasn't this always been the case though? Can't remember much from the Beadle days, but in the Lisa Riley days I certainly remember loads being on from america. Maybe its just more obvious nowadays

Jeremy Beadle I can't remember,Lisa Riley was OKish,
Jonathan Wilkes was a lot better than people make him out to be and
Harry Hill should have his own studio. In fact, just drop YBF being as it's not being noticed.
CiTV drops presenters and everyone has a field day. You've Been Framed does it and nobody cares.
I'm pretty certain even during the Beadle years it amounted to little more than filler, still gets in sizeable audiences and that really is a strange mystery I can't decipher. Guess seeing people fall over in various prattish ways. kids/animals doing typically kid/animal things or just people doing dumb things to odd canned laughter is universal and timeless, see YouTube but without the canned laughter.
Haven't seen it much since that odd period when Lisa Riley presented though, not much grab in that sort of thing to me.
Other shows which have used canned laughter recently are:
- You've Been Framed (as already mentioned) (Harry Hill era)
- The Graham Norton (Best Of) Show (broadcast 2nd Jan)
- TVs Naughtiest Blunders (with Neil Morrisey v/o)
- Outtake TV (old series recently broadcast on BBC Two)
- The Catherine Tate Christmas Show (except 'Nan' scenes)
- Two Pints of Lager... and a Packet of Crisps (Musical episode)
- Ant and Dec's Christmas Takeaway (which was ditched for not being 'festive enough' according to ITV)
Outtake TV certainly had a real audience when it was hosted by Paul O'Grady. Not sure about under Anne Robinson. And I'm sure more of the Catherine Tate show was with a real laughter track.
Well he might not have much charisma but when you compare him to an old man,a fat woman and a misused comedian he looks a lot better.
But seriously,I think saying he's a waste of space is a bit harsh.I doubt he's a bad person. It's just they didn't give him enough time,or whatever happened.Did he leave or was he sacked?

I didn't say he was a bad person, just the worlds worst presenter. His contract wasn't renewed. His, "Just remember, I
don't
have a catchphrase" catchphrase would have better delivered by a cabbage. He had all the charisma of a skid mark.
