I rarely watch this programme, but I caught some of it today and noticed something strange. Why on earth were the years on the cameras date blurred out. For example, 29.3.2003, 2003 was pixellated. At first I thought it was just one faulty video camera, but it turned out all the dates on the video clips had the year blurred out. How odd? Confused

Maybe they are using them again because not many people send them in.

I think they've blurred out the year on the older clips from the 90s etc. to try and obscure the fact that many of the clips aren't 'new'. I noticed some clips which were only a few years old weren't blurred out though. There's still quite a few clips from our American friends being used.

But this programme is called ' The Very Best of You've Been Framed', so most of the clips are old, so blurring out the years (mostly on the older clips) doesn't make sense.

Blurring something out badly makes it more noticable.Like when they blur logos and they're so obviously blurred. If they did a smooth blur they'd be alright.
