Im watching the christmas edition of You've Been Framed on ITV 1 now and i've noticed that most of the clips are American. Do they re-use clips used in American candid camera shows? or do they just happen to get a lot of clips in from the "American" neighbourhoods of Britian?.

Im sure this has always occured with You've Been Framed. If you look at the end credits there is usually a few international companies listed. And if you saw the other international versions of a similar YBF im sure you would find Granada TV listed on the other version - franchising out the UK-originating clips. They must surely make back more than £250 from each UK-new clip.

PS I found tonight's Christmas YBF to be my favourite programme of the festive season. Harry Hill's commentary was spot-on and takes the programme to new orgasmic heights.

i saw a bit of it, can't say i ever really liked the programme - it hit rock bottom with fatty riley presenting.

one thing though, does it even have a studio anymore? and if not, why is there a laughter track?

When I was in France at Christmas, there was a bloopers style show in which at least 40-50% originated from the UK's TV Naughiest Blunders which at some points during the programme also featured the narration from Neil Morrisey!

I liked You've Been Framed until September 2004 when they got rid of the studio, the features and Jonathan Wilkes.

He was. Rather easy on the eye though I thought.

Some of the clips tonight were from editions of Beadle-era YBF.

I recently come across on a tape a bit of YBF Late, what an experiment that was(!) Central trailed it like mad at the time.
