First of all, it's not a mock, request, website or news so I figured it should go here. Secondly, this is simply because there was nothing on at all, hence I was watching this. Anyway...

I was watching bits of Most Annoying People of 2007 or something on BBC3 and caught some thing about David Hasslehoff and the infamous video of him drunkly eating a burger, and ending up on Youtube. The show said they weren't allowed to show the video as "it's on Youtube and [they're] on the telly" so they "recreated it". Just recently, nothing's on again, and the first part of the same countdown is being repeated. This time, it's that Chris whatshisorhername moaning about Britney Spears with that famous "Leave Britney Alone" video. The video was broadcast on BBC3, but IIRC, didn't the video first appear on Youtube? I thought they weren't allowed to do that?

Any ideas?

Richard Bacon narrating per chance?

I'd imagine it was a bit of his humour, they' couldn't get permission for the clip but the gag is that You Tube are forever removing clips taken from the TV.

I imagine its not an issue with YouTube, rather than the respective people involved in each video. I think Hasslehoff will have some king of injunction to stop it being shown on tv or somesuch, where the "leave britney alone" kid is hardly going to say no to the BBC showing it - or even sue them if they do - because he does seem like a massive attention seeker and is probably glad of the publicity even if its negative
