What is the point of respecting the time the webmasters put in
The BBC Does all the work first.
1: They compose the music and get it just right without problems.
2: Get the screen the right size.
3: make sure the camera is in the right posistion.
4: Film the pictures edit them.
5: get a man/women to say Now the BBC News.
6: Play the Titles properly.
And the webmasters just capture it.
And who pays the licence fee to allow all this to happen then? People like you should open their eyes to the real world, instead of nit-picking.

So watch out some of your stuff might end up on there. This annoys me, ok so the actual copyright lies with the broadcasters. But whoever is behind this website hasn't gone to the trouble of buying a TV Card, installing it, finding the clips, converting them and uploading them to a server.
It's a disgrace.

I really hope that the interest taken in one of my sections was not because they were thinking of nicking stuff off there!
What a disgusting attitude Max, you seam to be a bit two faced one one side semi appolgising for you actions and then coming out with a scaithing attack. We know that the broadcasters own the copyright to the content of the clips but the actual clips are owned by the respective capturers, and might I add the broadcasters know of these sites and actively endorse them.

And about capturing stuff from the BBC, don't all public broadcasters belong to the citizens of their respective countries? After all, they do get funded by taxpayers (or in this case, licence fees). As long as the webmaster who captures them doesn't use them to harm the BBC or to discredit the network or the people who created it, or don't COMPLETELY take credit of it, then I personally don't see anything wrong with the webmaster taking credit for CAPTURING the clip.
