I'm just about to start compiling the links page for Identz, and if any of you have a link to your own site, then please add it to this topic.

Your site must be media or television presentation related and have no porn. Identz will not be linking to websites with just mock designs.

Yes this is the policy they have,

'IF you are some person building a website about TV and we have used your files on here Please don't contact us, We will NOT REMOVE your files.'

and

'PLEASE NOTE: That We only remove files when requested by the TV Companies them selfs. But We are willing to Put you on the Credits page. And The Links Page 'Number'

So watch out some of your stuff might end up on there. This annoys me, ok so the actual copyright lies with the broadcasters. But whoever is behind this website hasn't gone to the trouble of buying a TV Card, installing it, finding the clips, converting them and uploading them to a server.

It's a disgrace.

Simple solution - just complain to the hosts of the deviant websites, and soak up all their bandwidth. If any files from Identz are found on another site I will go absolutely mad.

So whoever is in charge of these pisspot sites - I warn you now, I will come down on you like a ton of bricks, and with the support of the majority of the forum I hope!?

You have my full support there James! It's quite sad to think that this actually goes on, and these people get the credit, when they did nothing. It's something which angers me aswell!!!

Yep, copyright is something we all respect but some people don't seem to respect the time the webmasters put in.

Anyway, back on topic! A link to TV Home (and/or the forum would be appreciated - but not necessary) would be great and will of course be reciprocated.

Feel free to wait until TV Home comes back, or whatever.

What is the point of respecting the time the webmasters put in

The BBC Does all the work first.

1: They compose the music and get it just right without problems.
2: Get the screen the right size.
3: make sure the camera is in the right posistion.
4: Film the pictures edit them.
5: get a man/women to say Now the BBC News.
6: Play the Titles properly.

And the webmasters just capture it.
