With everyone having a different idea of what's entertaining. Do you an idea for a TV show? or new reality format or sitcom idea perhaps? What would you like to see on TV??
one would be PMQ's where the PM is attached to a lie detector where if he doesn't tell the complete truth he blows up
in seriousness tho here's a more construtive idea.
"All Star BBC Saturday Night Light Entertainment"
Ok this would be very hard to arrange and get all to agree but my ultimate idea for entertainment would be this:-
Take Catherine Tate, Matt Lucas & David Walliams, Mitchell & Webb, The Three Non Blondes, Little Miss Jocelyn, Tity Bang Bang/ Man Stroke Women cast. All the 'recent' and modern comedy stars basically. Take of those and put them together into one Hour long Saturday night all star entertainment hour. The show's format would take the flow of like the two ronnies. With links and a live music guest etc. The show would be partly live with a studio audience mixed with pre-recorded sketches, from each of the people on it. E.g. a Catherine Tate sketch, then a little Britain sketch afterwards. Then Mitchell & Webb do a sketch
New characters should be created but individual members or double acts would do some sketches with their more classic charters from their series. E.g., Catherine would do a Lauren sketch and Matt & David do a Lou & Andy sketch. The various acts should co-phonate and come with new characters and sketches too. Also end the show with a 'live' sketch involving them all put together would end the show.
Matt & David, Catherine, Mitchell & Webb would be the 'headliners' as it were with the other underneath them as 'supporting' acts, but as well get anyone and everyone involved writing and appearing in sketches such as Vic & Bob, Little & Large, Hale & Pace, The Crankies, French & Shunders, Smith & Jones, Baddiel & Skinner, Punk & Dennis make appearances from time to time. Anyone who's ever been involved in British comedy makes an appearance in a sketch or does their own one off sketch sometimes. Basically try and combine as many old sketch show's and its stars into one prime-time light weekly entertainment show that in 'flow' and 'pace' emulates the two ronnies. (But the modern stars being the overall headliners)
Most of the show would be pre-recorded but live links should be cut in here & there. E.g. Lou & Andy do a live link or Mitchell & Webb as Angel & BMX boy could do one. You get the idea right. Don't think could ever be organised and done or would be accepted ever but that is my pitch for the greatest piece of Saturday night entertainment ever.
