Looks quite entertaining, seen the trailer. A trailer clearly put together by someone like Brooker, taking advantage of Channel 4's on screen identity when saying "now they're gonna cover me up" and running on the table to still appear within the logo.
I thought it was great myself - far better than the regular panel show, and the format allowed Charlie to keep his trademark Screenwipe style. The IRA vs Taliban stuff was hilarious.
Disappointing ratings though - 900,000. Tuesday night seems an odd slot for it really.
Didn't really do it for me. Charlie is great - and his bits were funny. Rufus Hound and Jamelia were pretty poor bookings - and didn't add much for me, though Richard Herring was OK.
More Charlie, less guests would be a better mix.
All felt a bit cheap, and massively (and obviously) edited down.

I ditto this. Jamelia is on nearly every single panel show these days, it's almost as if that is her job now.
Well next week the BBC launch their latest TV panel quiz - pre-watershed hosted by Steve Jones, with captains Jason Manford (who on the same night captains 8 out of 10 Cats) and Fern Britton, with guests from the likes of Holby and other shows rather than comedians.
I'm sure it'll rate significantly better - and I'm sure it'll be significantly worse.
