Does anyone remember 'You Bet' on ITV, that gameshow hosted by Matthew Kelly. It was a classic.

It wasn't so good when Darren Day took over presenting it.

It was an absolutely great show - shame Matthew left. It was really good fun watching the celebs do some really scary stunts and stuff, and having those people come into the studio who said they could do something like identify the name, number and manufacture year of 100 trains (and the celebs would bet on it, and if they lost they had to do something) - where did they find those people???? (not the celebs - but nnow i think about it - how do you get one??)

I suppose dont try this at home is a little like it, but not as fun as watching celebrities make a fool of themselves!!

Originally hosted by Bruce Foresyth (sp??) who always used to throw his hat onto the stand at the beginning of the show and if he got it the audience used to cheer!

It was good, I used to like. I don't like 'Don't try this at home' as some of them are just rediculous. 'Tonight, we are going to make a man jump out of a plane without a parachute!'
It relies too much on daring challenges!

You Bet, it was better! It just had good things like naming cheese only by its smell! Fantastic!
