Wow! Amazing idents. Pretty "old school". Great look overall.

A shame to think though that the drama of these idents will be clumsily overlaid and therefore ruined by pre-recorded announcements.

Quite elaborate for a UKTV station.

There's something BBC2 and Carlton 1999 like with these idents and I do like them, I guess it reflects the way the channel is going with more entertainment programmes creeping in.

I don't get this channel. They show triple bills of Last of the Summer Wine & episodes of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.

What's not to get?

The new look has launched. It took them until 8.35am to change the DOG.

It's like music channels showing "my sweet sixteen" or "bridezillas"

Or homegrown, British programmes on Sky Atlantic.

There's two sides to the Atlantic - it's even reflected in their presentation.

Perhaps the SVG recreations around the various wiki sites should be updated accordingly?

I wouldn't bother - it'll be like the BBC One logo argument...
