I vote for not restoring post counts. For the record though, I had 87 posts and signed up on the 26th August 2002.

I vote for not restoring Post Counts too. Last time, some members got their post counts back and some members didn't, which wasn't very fair, so I think we should just leave them as they are.

well I'm for keeping the post counts but not changing them to their previous levels so everyone get's a more "honest" count.

As said, those who post lots will gain a nice high level again (although I was so close to 3000, dammit)

Well I think this time everyone should start back at 0 and previous post counts should not be restored, it will soon become clear who posts a lot in the coming weeks.

Last time, looking at the Memberlist it looked a bit daft, as the top ten people had posts in the thousands, and then it dropped to about 500, which looked strange

Well I was wondering if there was a way in changing my user name from Lee2k2 to Lee2k3

Everything beeing wiped wasn't exactly what I had in Mind.

Before the site was wiped was anyone registered simply as "Lee"?

Shame about all the posts being deleted, but at least the board's back without too much trouble.

How long will that last though. At least one banned member has already taken advantage of the lost data to get back on here. How long before others see the opportunity. I have a feeling the mods are going to have their work cut out re-banning people in the coming weeks.

Yes, I am not going to update my post count, I had 3000 odd, but I'd rather start again!

I'm still undecided as to whether to restore my post count. I had a fairly large amount of posts (see picture earlier) and it's a shame to lose all of them.

Well as everybody has had their post count reset so to speak, I might as well start again to be fair. Neutral

The slightly odd thing is on my last post before everything went I made a note of my post count - 1697 but I'm happy to leave that behind.

I think we can safely say that most people don't want the post counts corrected.

It would take Asa ages to update all of the Post Counts and I don't think it's fair to waste all of his tim.
