Am I the only person who seems to be having a problem with my signiture? I've added it in my signiture but I just can't see it.

EDIT - Problem fixed. Seems signiture changes only have effect in posts made after it's changed.

Post counts should stay visible. Lets newcomers know who's who in the world of TV Forum.

How? The greater the number of posts, the most insightful (or, if I went with my first spelling, inciteful) the poster is? Let a poster be judged on quality - not quantity.

The only help the post counts have been of late is weeding out those faked accounts.

Still, glad to see the Forum back up without too much time for 'I can do a forum' squabbles breaking out Wink

As I've said in Asa's thread, I think we should treat this as a clean slate - we all start from the beginning, afresh...damn the post counts. We're all in the same boat now.

I had millions of posts, but I don't really care. Can I register my interest in starting my post count from scratch?

Nice to see the forum back Smile

The problem is that is one person get's their post ocunt booted up its not fair on other, and it just mucks everything up so a) all posts counts resotred) b) no post counts restored

The later should be used because its, well just easyer.
(yay i've got my sig back!)

Well, I've got a saved page of TV Forum (at 9pm).

I've changed my username from BBC World to edward, as I don't really like naming myself after a TV station.

Oh let's forget the post counts, I'm sure Asa has better things to be doing than restoring the details of hundreds of members.

I cant remember my join date but it was sometime around July 2002 I think.

My post count was 350 I think and I used to post under Jez2003 but Jez is easier now!

I too have gone for a slightly different username, using my initials now instead of my actual name. Better for internet security of course, but more importantly, it reduces the risk of someone I know who doesn't know my presentation interest recognising me on here! Embarassed

I have in fact been a member since 31 December 1969, and anyone who says otherwise is a liar. Nyah!
