X-rated: The TV they tried to ban

Anybody else saw it? Thought it was interesting, and the autoption didn't freak me out anymore, guess I've gotten used to it now.

But I must confess I couldn't always completely disagree with the complainers.

I saw it.

Right to Reply! They should bring that back.

I have to admit that I agreed with what the complainers were saying but...this is what attracts the viewers I'm afraid. Sad but true. I thought this programme was very biased and I'd like to complain.

A very good programme and a great start to C4's Banned season.

One of the most interesting aspects was the discussion of words - mainly "racist" - in frequent use in the past but now a complete no-no.

Also some fantastic editing to make the complainers look like a bunch of racist homophobic middle-aged tw*ts. Also quite funny how you saw the complainers watching videotapes of stuff they find immoral!


A couple more things to note - the first airing of the "What's your favourite swear word" C4 promotion, and the fantastic spoof in-vision continuity announcements.

I want to see that C4 promotion with the swearwords more often!
