Aldi are continuing the Kevin The Carrot adverts this year, with Kevin looking for love.

i know that these were posted by Tomo earlier in the thread, but having only just watched this as part of last night's X Factor recording, there is something really sweet and magical about it. We could all do with more of that in the world.

And also this is a wonderful production, and a clever idea utilising the mouths, it shows how far the company have come that everybody will instantly recognise it.

Sainsbury's has a Christmas karaoke advert. Yes. I'm baffled.

One of the worst I've ever seen.

Two awful years in a row for Sainsbury’s but this one is especially dreadful. They seem to have totally slashed their advertising budget this year, the food dancing dross or whatever the tagline’s meant to be is unwatchable.

It’s a shame, they seemed to be going in the right John Lewis direction but have completely lost their way at Christmas

I think with the Food Dancing campaign, they lost their way entirely not just at Christmas.

Can we all agree this has been the worst year ever for Christmas ads? If not, than a particularly poor one?

That's a bit harsh, but yeah, some of them aren't that good. Remember when Christmas ads used to be good?

The Sainsbury's advert is completely bereft of any production value, which makes it look massively cheap compared to all the other offerings.

Their concept works for the usual Sainsburys adverts, but looks very cheap for Christmas.

2014 & 2015. Yeah. Sainsbury's the new John Lewis - no chance.

It's official - Brexit has ruined Christmas.
