In which case, all this talk about how Shine would collapse if they pissed the beeb off by selling The Voice to ITV is complete bollox. Shed/Shine will have about as much influence on the decision on who gets year 3+ of the programme as me.
It'll be Talpa I imagine who own the rights - Shed would just be licenced to produce the series for the BBC.

Isn't Shine owned by News Corp, with Elizabeth Murdoch as CEO?
One imagines that they'd be unlikely to "close" without the BBC's support.
