The same goes for the Andrew Lloyd Webber shows as well - who, outside of the south eastern bubble, really cares??

My mum. She's northern. Next?

You'll need to ring her and tell her she's wrong.

Oh, well that's alright then. Its perfectly acceptable to stereotype tens of thousands of people if its only the BBC.

Now lets get back on to talking about the X Factor and how it isn't a cynical lo-brow charade at all.

Yes Gavin, let's.

The broadcaster is selling 30-second adverts to late buyers for an estimated £190,000 this month. Television industry insiders believe that the figure could come close to £250,000 for the last show in December.

An average of 11.2 million people have watched each show — 1.8 million more than a year ago — and The X Factor, with Mr Cowell’s other project, Britain’s Got Talent, are the most popular programmes on British television. No entertainment show has topped the ratings since The Price Is Right arrived in Britain in 1984.

The X Factor becomes the ‘British Superbowl’ as advertising fees soar

I think this means John and Edward will have to be in the final three after all. The final won't meet all this expectation without them, in my opinion.

What a rubbish analogy to make Chie.

Will the final be spread over two nights or how will it happen?

Saturday's show will become irrelevant if Jedward are knocked out.

The final is over the two nights, so I think it's likely the 3rd place act will be eliminated on the Saturday, leaving the final two for Sunday.

Just watching last night's show finally, and someone really needs to tell Danni to wait for the crowd to shut up... every act misses half her comments every week.

Which are the comments worth waiting for the most.

Well done to the guys for cutting around Calvin though, good to know his little 'stunt' wasn't even seen by most... including me at first, I just thought the vm's hand slipped or something.

They seem to want rid of Dannii. The producers know her popularity is probably in the way of The Simon Cowell Show (featuring Cheryl Cole) and they look like they are trying to sabotage her. By sticking her on the end, she HAS to talk over the crowd (it was the same when Louis was there) meaning noone hears what she says, and then they write her off as irrelevant.
