I don't know what her odds were this week, but I put £5 on last week and would've received £95 back if she'd been eliminated.
I don't think there'll be any point betting from now on as the odds will be too short. Although I think the next three will go in the following order: Lloyd, Jamie, Danyl.
DAMN I should have placed a bet on Lucie!!

On Paddy Power at one point it was at 12/1

Have fun!
I HATE JOHN AND EDWARD!!!!!!!!!!
Lucie was by far the best last night, and that n*b-head cowell has sent her down to protect his act.
So now, I'm really not talking till Jedward are gone.

Nothing to do with 'protecting his act'. That's all just for show, they'll all vote how Simon wants them to vote, he owns the company. This comment from Richard Bacon on his Twitter is far more accurate: "To everyone saying it's a 'travesty', he's making the decision as a TV producer 1st. Narratives / press matter MUCH more than the singing."
Don't get me wrong, I'm raging, and I won't be watching it again. It's strayed far too much into Peter Kay territory for me ever to take it remotely seriously again. I know it's not a serious talent contest but there's got to be some pretence there that it is, otherwise it becomes a complete farce.

The only hypocritical thing about this is the fact Cowell calls this a "singing competition" then sends the vote to deadlock. He could have got rid of John and Edward there and then, but of course he chose not to because it generates publicity...which, lets face it, is the thing that keeps this show going. So in that aspect, he has done the right thing. Whether he knew the public result or not.
I personally hate John and Edward for what this programme set out to be.

Let's hope Dannii gets the opportunity for revenge next week and Simon loses out to John and Edward.
Gutted about tonight's result - Lucie is about the only act there I didn't want to see go, probably along with Joe and Olly. As for the rest - well frankly John and Edward would make better TV, and to be fair to them, worse singers have made a career out of it, however brief. I think Simon's decision tonight has pretty much booked John and Edward a place in the final.
I do love though how the people who usually moan about the judges getting a vote and it not being down to the public vote alone are this year moaning about how the judges keep sending it to "deadlock" and letting the public decide. Indeed the only week it didn't happen was when Louis was off and just three judges voted, but apart from tonight, I think they were justified in letting the public decide.
