Not too surprised Rachel left - Simon likes to do what he thinks the public wants, and as it was Rachel's third time in the bottom two, it was the right decision. Lloyd deserved a second chance - Rachel's had hers, though with her apparent unpopularity, it might have been to Simon's advantage to keep her in. Her departure though should now ensure Lucie and Stacey are safe for a few more weeks - I think it's simply the case of not enough votes to go around for the girls, and people were simply voting for Lucie or Stacey over Rachel.

I don't think Lloyd will be there much longer either, I say give it two weeks

I think Alexandra will also have had part to play, although they weren't identical she was very similar to Rachel, so perhaps some viewers think she is a poor Alex and won't vote.
I still think people are struggling to 'get' Rachel as a person. I really like her as a singer, but she's gone from being a bit quiet to slightly hyper. I really don't think Lloyd deserves to be there though, even if its about looks... surely Olly trumps him on that front.
Lloyd is awful, but then Cheryl's songs are just as dire!
I think that Dannii is by far THE BEST mentor this year. Granted she has a good catergory but this year I feel she is far superior in terms of how she comes across, the songs she gives and her critisisms. I didn't warm to her last year when her nose was put out of joint due to chjeryl's arrival, but this year she seems to be everyones favourite judge.
I think Danyl is a credible actor. HIs crying, can't be arsed appearance, pathetic puppy dog look and whole stage persence is all an act and it is abismal so see. He was hyped up too much by Simon during his audition also.
15.8 million viewers (peak) for last weekend's results show.
The Xtra Factor on ITV2 got 1.8 million.
Holly has brought that show on in leaps and bounds over the last 2 years. During the audition stages, The xtra factor is 100% more enjoyable than the usual shows. Its such a shame she's quit, but I s'pose her huge workload contributed to her decision.
Seen X Factor every week since the final groups were singing live, and they've still not sorted out the judge's audio levels... there's been numerous times where the crowd are that loud you have to rely on the upcoming VT to see who is next!
So on the face of it, John and Edward are going home, but will Simon throw it to deadlock as he knows how many column inches John and Edward are generating for the show?

I think he WILL do Deadlock, that Young face 16 years should not be in there!
With the black eye peas there sounded bad!

Well done simon! but Again Lloyd should not be there
Damn. I put a bet on Lucie to go last week, and then she goes and goes this week!
I'm glad John and Edward are still in the competition though. They're hugely entertaining, unlike 'come back when your balls have dropped' Lloyd, who can't even string a coherent sentence together without having to stare into space and think about it for five minutes - never mind *actually* sing - and is going to look even more out of his depth next week.
