I'm sticking to it being adrenaline, which has the same effect he had when in extreme cases.
Like I've said before... until any of us on here have performed infront of people chanting and screaming our names, after weeks/months of hype and nervous worrying, only to finally be accepted again live on national television...
...well, none of us have had that, so we can't really comment.
I didn't like the group performance at the beginning either. I also thought Robbie's performance was a bit much for a quiet Sunday night.
What did you want? Harry Secombe in a knitted jumper? Times have moved on dear.
I agree it was a pretty moronic thing to post, Chie is free to watch the Antiquities Roadshow on BBC 1 at the same time.
I think the group performance was necessary as there isn't time for all the acts to perform but you want some kind of performance from the contestants in the hour. I think it was a great way to start the show, great feel good tune as well.

Well my point was that it would've been better suited to Saturday night.
They probably wanted the big moment of the weekend to be on the night when they'd be the most viewers. Personally I think most people don't want dull programming on Sunday night, something we've had for years, they want something entertaining and uplifting, to take their minds of work in the morning. I think this is something ITV have only in the last couple of years worked out.
The Sunday results show worked surprisingly better than I thought it would. It didn't seem as padded out as I thought. I enjoyed the group performance (even though they were awful), Alexandra did a good performance (even if she did mime to a live recording, not to say its a bad thing) and Robbie was odd.
I suppose it provides more scope for them to invite past contestants back on instead of it being squashed into a half hour show, literally one off one on like it was last year.
I think it will be successful and as a result I think Dancing on Ice itself could move back to Saturdays with the results show on a Sunday.

The audience capacity seems a lot smaller than last year. Is is just me?
And.. what are they going to do with all that space on the set for subtle ballads that are sung without and dancers? Seems really vast!
