What the hell is this at the start of the show, I thought they reserve all this group sh*t when the reject auditon peeps sing on the final show. Maybe Simon is testing this for a X Factor finalist song like Hero last year.

They are just dragging the show out an hour when it only really needs to be half an hour.

Oops, the backdrop just showed up instead of the Out of Break sting.

Any chance of a full version of that shot... decent wallpaper to mess with! Laughing

So what did people think of Robbie quickly anyway? I'm sure people will be guessing at drug use blah blah.

Don't forget that was his first public performance since rehab and opinions of him. To come out like a bag of nerves, only to have several thousand people screaming once again. That sudden reacceptance will create so much adrenaline, his eyes will pop out his sockets. The kind of natural rush he's been wanting really, better than any he's needed rehab for.

Also, nice miming Alex... and how many ways could they big her up exactly? 50 backing dancers, rappers helping out, pyro. Was way too much!

That was amusing, Dermot says "Here are your best bits, Candy Rain" and the end credits instantly came up. You couldn't make it up better myself!

I thought (and kind of hoped) Kandy Rain would go first.

I didn't like the group performance at the beginning either. I also thought Robbie's performance was a bit much for a quiet Sunday night.

What did you want? Harry Secombe in a knitted jumper? Times have moved on dear. Smile

That said however, Robbie's appearance smelt of "i'm desperate to make a comeback" to me.

I think that's kinda the idea, with his 'comeback single' and the words "He... Is... Back" in the buildup video. Razz

Definitely prefer watching the result show on Saturday, that's the first point.

Disappointed for Kandy Rain, but it seemed like the tide was against them and they're already forgotten about.

It will be interesting to watch Whitney - a proper singer singing after Cheryl - a chancer.

I do like Robbie, but his eyes when speaking to Dermot, I'm sure there will be lots of speculation on that. So looking forward to Whitney next week, a singer who can actually sing, albiet not as good as years ago but still streets ahead of what we have today.

As for Kandy Rain going, was not really fussed, loving Joe though.
