How long have STV had that nice little x factor breakbumper?

A few weeks I think.

Set looks amazing - the whole show is looking rather impressive. Shame about no new titles right enough but they work so no big deal.

Shame they didn't put as much effort into production like the they have with the set. Excessive reverb on the mics [followed by a sudden dip to correct it, then finally leveled out], wobbly camera cranes... they'll be doing a quick check with everything right now probably to make sure act 2 doesn't have the same occurances.

Has Louis had some work done recently?! His eyes look different to me.

I think he had a bit done pre-series from earlier editions of The Xtra Factor.

New set looks good, but they need to work out the exit - doesn't look good them crossing in front of Dermot (IIRC they used to exit the other side).

Performance wise - overall the girls did best. As for the boys Rikki was awful, Lloyd was disapointing, but has promise, while Joe really was the dark horse - but should he do well in the show I don't think he'd do well after the show.

As for the groups - Kandy Rain are the others I'd put in the bottom two, whilst Miss Frank should be around for a whilst. As for John and Edward - awful vocal, but one of the better choreography efforts and hate them or loathe them, that will be the performance people will talk about on Sunday morning. As for the over 25's - Olly Murs the best I think. Didn't think Jamie Archer was anything special - and as for Danyl Johnson, however good the vocal, Simon always goes on about the "likeability" factor, and Danyl hasn't got it.

And all that was my opinion, obviously.

Danyl's voice is so monotonous. I don't get the hype at all.

However, I take back what I said about Jamie last week. He's definitely got it. It's just a question of how well he can perform in other genres of music.

I especially liked the camera mounted at the back of the audience, which seemed to wobble excessively when anyone in the audience so much as breathed - so much so I thought maybe an earthquake was passing Wembley at the time.

They went a bit over-the-top with the strobe lighting as well.

Yes for us non-newspaper readers, please tell us what she meant?

She referred to the fact that references in the song, originally sung by a woman, referring to "he" or "him" had been swapped for "she" or "her". She argued that Danyl need not have replaced them.

Back in August, Danyl came out as bi in the red tops. What she seemed to be aiming at saying was that he shouldn't have felt he had to change the references in the song, when they worked equally as well just as they are.

Unfortunately, she did it in a rather cack handed way and a hush fell over the audience, Danyl, and Simon looked royally peed off.

I think the sentiment was good, but the timing was way off.

Danyl has said he's bisexual in the newspapers, and the song he sang is meant to be sang by female vocalist, which he changed. Dannii said: 'No need to change the gender references, if we're to believe everything we read in the press'

Jibing, or trying to somehow stand up for him - when he really didn't NEED her to?
