Well I guess it's all a matter of marketability, so yeah I think G4 probably would have done better.

However they were the most talentless bunch I have ever heard. At least Steve could sing, even if he is a bit dull.

Didn't ITV sign up for a 3rd series of Pop Idol, and was actually supposed to go out this year, Ant and Dec were supposed to be excited about it and everything, of course, this was before The X Factor came on the scene. Much prefer The X Factor myself.

So your not going to watch it because the winner wasn't very good?
Its a TV show not an EMI audition. Who cares how successful the people are as long as you enjoy the TV show


Who said it was because of that. I am just saying its a show to make people hated. I can't stand any other Reality/Talent Show!

Whilst I'm no fan of Steve's, his first single only came out a month ago, it's probably not too surprising you haven't heard much from him recently.

I agree. It's not uncommon for artists to leave at least a two month gap between each single.

Is that the same brother who was an 'expert' judge on 'The Block'? If this is true, do ITV really think people will want to watch shows like this just because it is hosted by the non- famous brother of a pop manager?
