It's Simon v Sharron - oh dear! (December 2004)

Did I really see (and hear) someone singing the theme tune to the EastEnders repeat on BBC3 this week? The song was about what was about to happen in Nighty Night (the next programme) and the words came up on the screen, karaoke style.

Please tell me someone else saw this.

With the news of a launch of Christmas Idents Tomorrow it would be a shame for them not to use these tomorrow night, unless they will be doing like they did with the mad maya and i'm a celeb bumpers, etc and had them around their programme.

So maybe we'll see these around X Factor and the Christmas Ident around Christmas Mania, that would make sense, what would have made more sense would have been to have ChristmasMania on Next Saturday and swap it with the Westlife Programme, or swap it with the Christmas Eve It'll Be Alright on the Night

ITV hasnt began showing it's Christmas idents until a few days before Christmas in the past few years! I cannot really see them being aired continually from tomorrow - therefore we might get to see one jsut before the Christmas programme and thats about it - back to normal until next Friday!
