Anyone else noticed the PROMOS X Factor do before the programme starts each week....Kate Thornton wearing last week's dress...."Join us live after the break,......... Then appears wearing a different dress.

Yes in the ad during the Who Wants to be a Millionaire credits , she was wearing a black dress.
And now watching the live show she is wearing a red dress. On another subject.. What happened to posting in the X Factor thread.

Ive noticed that. Dont know why they dont just record go live to her just before the show instead of having to keep recording it.

It's just easier. Just before the show they have warm up, final checks and all sorts of thing going on. Obviously it's not impossible to do it live, but it's not a neccessity for a promo.

This Morning do the same - and often it's not just yesterday's clothes, it's yesterdays presenters.


Big Brother do the promos "live" though with Davina on eviction night.
