It is ridiculous and it's the sort of not following their own format which has been their downfall over recent years. 9 acts would have been plenty for 6 live shows - at the moment they've got 13 acts and eliminations in a 1 hr 50 min show on Saturday. 9 acts in that slot would have paced it just about right.

Does anyone know where these (superior) titles are from? Fan made or an international version?

It's either Denmark or Bolivia. Everywhere else with a 2019 season seems to be later than when that was uploaded four months ago.

Or it’s just a [very good] mock.

“It means, for the first time in the show’s history, contestants will find out their fate on the same night.”

Well that’s not true.

I wonder if Strictly will go back to a Saturday results show too?

Strictly only copied X Factor to compete with it in the schedules. A live results show would also help combat spoilers.

I think the ratings boost on Sundays for BBC One is still a very strong reason for the BBC One team to keep a Sunday results show. (Countryfile, Antiques Roadshow and Strictly Results are a really strong block)

Well, indeed. You can say there are spoilers but that affects about 0.0001% of the audience, and by that regard you may as well say they should do EastEnders live, given you only get spoilers because someone who's seen it puts it on the internet.

Strictly did a Sunday show first, anyway, in 2007. But they stupidly dropped it in 2009 and X Factor nipped in.

I have to point out, Strictly Come Dancing was the first to provide a Sunday night results show in 2007, two years before X Factor copied Strictly with a Sunday night results show - yes, their results show was live, the BBC do not do a live edition to save money on powering up the George Lucas Stage 2 for a 45 minute result show.

Also, Strictly came before X Factor - Strictly launched in the Spring of 2004, X Factor in the autumn of 2004.

The Sunday night results show for Strictly is a strong show, and enables viewers to stick with BBC One on a Sunday night, I am sure it will remain in place.

There should just pull the plug..

You mean you believe the story?

There was never a results show scheduled!

It’s typical click bait nonsense

Exactly and the nonsense about it being bad news for Simon - how is it? He's got his signed deal with ITV for however many million and will still get that regardless - now he doesn't have to venture to the studio on a Sunday Cool #HappyDays
