Amazing how poor BBC journalism is these days. Stating Amelia Lily and Little Mix are all 17. One of LM is at least 19.

The fact they're covering X Factor at all proves that!

Though to be fair it is a Newsbeat article.

The sound is much better, are they using different equipment - its almost like the crowd noise is reduced.

The set however is ok, but I do prefer the studio as it has more screens and lighting.

I prefer the Fountain Studios as I feel the stage is dwarfed by everything else, from the shots the camera cranes were giving, you could barely see the acts, and the camera shtos from the back were awful, only shwos the audience, not the performance, however, I did REALLY!! like the camera at the top middle that's runs through the whole set, that was amazingly epic.

I notice the judges are using desk microphones, like the US version.

I noticed them too, I think they should have them for all the live shows, not just the final. Looks more professional.

I enjoyed the final tonight, poor lineup of musical guests though and was unhappy with Amelia Lily finishing third.

I think that they do have them, but are not as big as the ones used tonight, presumebly the standard ones are more of a back up.

I agree with the earlier post that the sound was better, and thanks to the mics, all judges could be heard.
I'm guessing usually there are mics on the audience, where as for a massive crowd there weren't any.

The judges performances worked very well in my opinion, and the Kelly & Amelia Lily duet was brilliant.

Amelia's elimination will shut up the bigots who thought the show was fixed. And it proves that HMV's gaffe the other day was just that, a gaffe, not a leak of the winner's identity.

Personally I really enjoyed last night - all of the performances were excellent and I liked most of the camera angles that were used. I was surprised by how good the Amelia-Kelly duet was too. Shame she left.

Absolutely.
Here are some of the best ones IMO:

Infact, a lot of the camera shots were really good. Good to see the return of the steadicam!

I think the show has a Eurovision feel to it.

Funny you should mention Eurovision. The set designer this year was the same as X Factor and it showed. It was a great set and much better than XF tonight.

I thought this as well - and thought, well if ITV ever take Eurovision broadcasting rights from the BBC then they could handle it ok.

And Florian Wieder? Design legend.
