The X Factor is presumably ITV's most popular show on Saturday night, so why don't they use the ECP or have a voiceover on the credits? I'm looking at this from ITV's point of view, not mine. Wouldn't it make sense to boost ITV's other services online or on ITV2 by promoting them during the credits? Seems strange they wouldn't make use of that opportunity.
From my point of view though, obviously, it's a great thing because I can enjoy the credits and the fabulous theme music. So even after all I've said, if anyone from ITV is reading this... please keep the no-ECP-on-X-Factor-thing up!

So now they've finished the early bit of the competition does that mean the end for the guy standing off stage who lamely and pointlessly goes '3,2,1, you're on'?
Bet Gary is loving taking over from Simon......wasn't it Simon who rejected Take That because they wouldn't ditch "the fat kid"
There's always stories like that about Simon but very rarely true. The story about him turning down the Spice Girls is also not true. He made them an offer, but they went elsewhere.
