I'm surprised Caroline has the job due to her I'm a Celebrity show being so successful in the last couple of years, but she was always the natural successor to Holly. They now have the trouble of finding yet another suitable I'm a Celebrity presenter which is going to be very difficult.

How does Caroline Flack seem to get all the ITV2 shows is beyond me ( when I say all I probably mean about 2! Laughing )

Olly Murs - ok I suppose, but I don't know why they feel the need to have previous runner's up on these talent shows presenting the spin off show the year after.

Would have much prefered Matt Edmondson tbh.

Intresting there've gone with 2 presenters for the first time. Wonder if the X Factor could have two presenter's too *cough* Christine Bleakley *cough* with Dermot. Laughing Well I'm almost sure since being on Daybreak, like Adrian Chiles having the football, she also would have a primetime show - wouldn't surprise me if it was X Factor.

If I was Caroline I'd stick with 'Get Me Out of Here Now' FREE HOLIDAY! Very Happy

So are we witnessing the start of the decline for X Factor (UK)? With a pretty much all new judging panel it's going to feel a very different show. BGT seems to have done ok with new judges but I think X Factor has generally always been more about the judges than it has the competitors. Be interesting to see how long it lasts.

A very smart comment read out on Daybreak this morning a topic on which has been discussed on here I'm sure, that the show is more about the judges than the contestants nowadays!

Always was.

Exactly - that's the selling point of the show. I guess it's wait and see - as someone said on paper Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole weren't that good for the show either.

X Factor is always about the judges, whilst BGT is about the talent, or lack of it. Thats why they have a completely different feel. The press didn't watch X Factor to see who did well and who was voted off, they watched in the early years to see what Sharon would do next, and in the later years to see what Cheryl and Dannii were wearing.

New judging panel - interesting to see Gary in the 'Cowell Spot'.
