Dermot read out Leon's name in a really flat voice. That moment won't sound particularly exciting when it's replayed in endless compilations and incorporated into pop videos etc.

Leon is to X Factor what Michelle McManus was to Pop Idol - totally forgetable.

Well done Leon - as I said earlier I couldn't begrudge any of them winning tonight - and Rhydian I think will probably benefit more from not winning.


I do fear though Leon will be on the scrapheap sooner than you can "Gareth Gates".

Because of his singing or because of his looks?

Personally, I thought Rhydian had the better voice but the song is a bit poor for both their styles anyway to be honest.

Singing, for your information - how shallow and superficial of you! I loved his performance of the Long and Winding Road and plenty others, and seeing him grow.
