Same Difference have pulled the short straw this weekend then - Leon gets to duet with Kylie and Rhydian with Katherine Jenkins - while SD are lumbered with Jason Donovan!

I'd argue Rhydian got the raw deal with that nasal Welsh cow.

I think Sharon & Louis can kiss goodbye to their X Factor contracts...

Didn't Sharon say she would go if she didn't win this year. I hope she does now, she's clearly jealous of Danii. Its publicity after publicity Rolling Eyes

I did used to think Simon dreamt up every little piece of publicity, but tonight has made me wonder. Would Sharon really want to be portrayed as such a cow if she wasn't? Same with Louis tbh laughing like a bunch of schoolyard bullies at the end. And Dannii - would she really want to be cast as the victim? Then there's all the other things that have happened over the years. Kate Thorton must have seen a few of these 'publicity stunts' being thought up over the years - yet has never said anything. Makes you wonder if Sharon & Louis are just plain nasty....

In any event, I think The X Factor could be a much better show next year if he really did get rid of the pair of them. Not sure about Dannii, but she's alright. They do need some judges with personalities, but I think even the diehard fans are getting rid of rivalries, staged or not. Next year should be all about the talent, something they seem to have totally forgot about this year.

Surely the judges "quarrels" are just one long panto aren't they? Can anybody really take any of them seriously - especially when Cowell's production company makes the show?

Well, hopefully one way or the other Sharon will be going after this weeks outburst - it's not gone down very well at all.

Simon, Danni and a new third judge is the way forward IMO - even if it's Brian Friedman, as I'm sure it was down to Sharon he was kicked off the panel.

I wonder how well he'd have done if he'd stayed instead of exhuming Louis - I think he'd have probably got the groups, with Simon getting the oldies.

Well I did used to think the same yes, but there's only so far you can go before someone says something. Imagine all the people working on that show - the judges, presenters (if it was all panto why didn't Kate Thornton just come out and say it now she's gone?), production team many of whom will be freelancers - and nobody says it's all just publicity? Hmmm.

Either way, Sharon has been well and truely cast as an A Grade bully, an act or not. Can't see the viewers wanting her back.

Surely there's more potential judges than Brian Freedman out there. I'd like someone totally new who isn't on the radar, someone fresh who can make the show that way again. That Manager Jonathan Shalit might be good and could be the new Mr Nasty. After all, did any of us know Simon Cowell before Pop Idol? I think the key is to bring in new people.

Errrr

**Thinks about how looking forward I was to last year's final**

....No.

Feels a bit of a non event. Enjoyed the Strictly SEMI final more.
