Thank god Niki's gone - she started out brilliantly in week one but it all went downhill from there.


Leon wasn't great tonight but overall deserved his place in the final more - and though Rhydian is by far the best singer in the final, I actually think it's a close run thing this time. Louis could do for Same Difference what Sharron did for Steve Brookstien.


Prediction: 3rd - Leon, 2nd - Same Difference, 1st - Rhydian


I'd so love to see the look on Louis' face though if Same Difference won. I was surprised actually the producers didn't put them in the "bottom two" tonight just so they could have effectively knocked Niki out!

No he didnt - Leon has been average since day 1 IMO.

IMO Leon has undoubtedly been the one who's improved the most over the series. Rhydian just has natural talent and with Same Difference people have just learnt to accept them for what they are - whether they like it or not, while Niki suffered from having a great start.

I think she put in a couple of brilliant performances in the first three weeks but then nothing seemed to work for her - and it was obvious that Louis was favouring Beverley over her during those key middle weeks.

I agree, I'd hardly say he's improved.

I think Leon is aware of his strong and weak points and at least he is genuine and does try .Same Diffrence tonight realy made me quite sick the way they tried to get votes about her being bullied . They should sing Desperado next week.

Totally shocked by the results tonight, Leon was by far the worst of tonight.

How Niki went after performing a blinder with one moment in time, saying that though, I don't think that her first song should have been her song, she sang it well, but it didn't stand out as well as her second, and by then it may have been too late.

The reason that Leon's through is the teen girl fan base, especially when you watch the start of the Xtra Factor and the scroller lists messages such as 'We love you Leon', 'Leon is so fit', etc. I suppose that's the only problem with the X Factor now, it's deemed to appeal to the younger audience, so Niki's market would have been watching Strictly and Robin Hood.

The only thing that I'm holding against Same Difference is the random dances, why a circus, but then again that has nothing to do with them, when you listen to them when in another room, or whilst on the computer, they can sing, and they showed it with their choice of song tonight.

I don't think anyone would disagree with that, but it's still not enough - yes he has improved but he has NOT performed as well as the others for weeks. His voice has a nice sound but he has often been out of tune (this is fact, not opinion), and his performances are, in my opinion dull - not surprising really given how dull he seems as a person. He looked laughably uncomfortable with that girl from the audience in the 1st song and the dancers in the 2nd song.

I really do not understand the hype about this lad - Buble should know better! He probably likes him just because he's Buble's biggest fan!

Being a fan of a) talent and b) Simon Cowell I'm glad that Rhdian & SD got through, and whereas I was not a major fan of Nikki, she is a lot better than Leon so I wish she had joined them.

Leon obviously appeals to teenage girls and the Scots, so maybe he is more marketable. But his performances really do not warrant him a place in the final.

Having said that I'm not paranoid enough to suggest it's a fix - I just think the public are wrong!!
