Chris Moyles - major ego problem. It would turn into the Chris Factor, with jokes about him, and everything and anything a singer does relating to himself.

he already takes up too much media time in my opinion, even if it is radio.

I like the idea of Cat hosting, and holly and stephen on xtra would be quite good aswell

Cat Deely - has not charmed the public by turning her back on British television. The silly wannbe had no hope in America to start with, and I hope she comes back to the UK with her tail between her legs and never gets hired for a presneting job again.

she's doing pretty well in the US by all accounts.

Vernon Kay - this has not been mentioned, but if someboy does mention him as a contender I may become part of a group suicide.

I've seen his name mentioned quite often.

Never thought about his Mrs being on the other site - add an interesting twist to the annual SCD v XF battle!

An outside bet but someone I rate quite highly as an unsung TV presenter - Lauren Laverne.

There is some talk of Chris Moyles being a new judge. He has X-Factor 'form' in that he was on the celeb version.
and he didn't rule it out this morning like he usually would

of course with Cowell it's all about column inches and if the UK's biggest 18-35s DJ was on the show, then that would be good for generating word of mouth

Do you know how far into the show Moyles talks about this Andrew?

It was in the news, so there was comments about it after 7.30 and 8.00 at least

I have a vague recollection of Kelly Brook being Simon's number one choice of presenter when the rumours of Kate being axed went around before the last series. I think she'd be good.

Never saw on Love Island, but on The Big Breakfast she was slammed by critics, though actually I quite liked her - but even so she wouldn't be able to handle a live show such as The X Factor IMO.

Is Mr Cowell still dating that Terri woman off Wheel of Fortune? About the only "presenter" I can think of linked to him.

Did you ever watch Love Island? She was axed for a reason.

Hmm, yes. That would be an interesting choice and I think she'd work quite well. Hardly who I'd call bland, which is what I would call Cat Deeley. Vernon Kay is just an irritating prat, and is attempts at comedy are pitiful.

I'd like an unusual choice which Lauren would be. If they just go for the obvious like Cat then it would have been pointless axing Kate because they're pretty much the same. They can read an autocue and, well, that's it. Somebody mentioned Simon Amstell who I think would be a fantastic choice but I doubt he'd be asked, and if he was, I couldn't see him doing it.

And I would like Chris Moyles to be a judge. I think he's hilarious. Embarassed

Chris Moyles - I don't know what to make of this guy. I don't often listen to his radio show but he does come across as extremely egotistical. You certainly can't have him on the judging panel - IMO I don't think he'd take the judging seriously enough.

You need somebody from the music industry or a music critic. Simon Cowell will bring someone over from the US. Although I like her, it would seem desperate imo to pinch Paula Abdul from American Idol.

With all this, it wouldn't surprise me if Sharon goes as well to be honest.

Me neither which is why I dont think he would be suited to being a judge on X Factor.
