For goodness sake is Sharon ever going to go through with her threat to to quit ? She makes the atmosphere of the show really unpleasant and is upstaged by Danni now anyway.
She has by far the weakest category, and there is a chance her acts will just be picked off. It's been said before but the emphasis needs to be taken off the judges competition and on to finding the best artist, would make it a better show.
Nikki was the best tonight, and Dermot I found to be an improvement on Kate. Oh and Leona was looking and sound good.

I seemed to get the impression she was miming? It just didn't seem quite right to me
Sharon certainly looked to have one too many Red Bulls tonight - even before the results when critiquing Rhydian and one of the other guys. Who knows though, it could all well be a publicity stunt - it'll give some newspaper column inches to an otherwise lacklustre first show.
Dermot seemed ok, he's very at ease with live TV and no doubt will be even better next week after he's recovered.
He didn't say that - he said should the votes be tied then they reveal who came bottom of the public vote, and they go home.

I guess bringing Danni in as a new judge also acts as a precaution against Sharon carrying out any threat of quitting.
I'm guessing Brian's name appeared during the choreography stuff so often as when he was replaced as judge Simon said he was be working with the acts on choreography (or similar). Thus a bit of keeping someone and their ego happy I guess.

Probably the guy is some Producer telling the judges who to vote for - telling Sharon to have a showbiz strop and letting the others know how to handle it and to remind them to slow down during the voting reveal 'Dermot the person I am sending home is .......................................................Kimberley'.
