I can't be alone in not liking Dannii Minogue? It seemed to me that she was letting through the crap and saying no to anyone who had any chance of doing well in the competition. Surely Dannii isn't afraid of a talent show winner becoming bigger than herself, I mean, thats just daft!

Apparently Dannii and Sharon have already fallen out and it'll be war when it comes to the live shows.

I hate the X factor. It made me cry. I love that little big Welsh girl.

I did love that group of losers at the end. Their downfall was very enjoyable to watch.

The first "sob story' of tonight was pretty lame, with all the sad music. What was his heartbreaking story which meant he had to win at all costs? He works in a shop and his mum is single. Bought a tear to my eye.

My heart is bleeding! I hate it when X factor goes all slushy.

Good to see Simon having a go at the father of a deluded girl tonight who really believed she was the next Celine/Whitney. It's his fault he told him for not giving her a reality check!

Wasn't much Dermot action tonight! He was probably on The Xtra Factor on ITV2 longer than he appeared on the main show. Kate Thornton would never do this.

Kate Thornton was never lucky enough to be working on two shows simultaneously.

I agree, there was barely any Dermot tonight but he can be forgiven. His main role will be on the live shows.

Surely he should have given up the other show to concentrate on the X Factor then? Apart from the start I dont recall seeing him at all in last nights episode. Was he even there during the auditions shown last night?
