The X Factor could be joining BB and Dancing on Ice at Elstree Film and TV Studios, as ITV searches for a new home.
Simon Cowell told The Daily Star “I have always made a conscious effort at the end of every season to try to make the new show better than the last one. Last year ITV gave us another Ł1m so we could have a wonderful new set. But this year I would like to get a few more people on the stage and get bigger premises.”

I thought Ben and Dermot presented together on T4 for a while? Infact I remember when T4 had their first birthday (think that was around 2000 and they showed the first episode of Hollyoaks) they were presenting together then?

For a while the three of them hosted with Margarita Taylor, but soon after Dermot was bought in Ben disappeared. Obviously it may have been his decision to quit, but it appeared to me at least he'd been pushed out by Dermot - who seemed to have a better partnership with Margarita than Ben.

He was never "pushed out" of those shows by Dermot. He just left and was replaced. Simple as

I expect Holly Willoughby will be a front runner for the X-tra Factor, she seems flavour of the month at the moment.
