I'm not sure he's that committed to BB - but I don't think he'd give it up for The X Factor, even for the main presenting role.

According to one tabloid newspaper today, Randy Jackson from American Idol is set to sign up to be a judge for the X-Factor.

Broadcast are reporting that Dermot O'Leary has been hired as the new X Factor host

Dermot O'Leary has signed a deal with ITV for the next two series of The X Factor.

He said: "I was very flattered to be offered the job to host such a hugely successful show. I'm really looking forward to working with Simon and the team on the kind of Saturday night entertainment show I grew up watching."
