Cool well in that case I'd go for it and who knows, you might make it into the chorus number that they do during the live final!

Take That manufactured? I might have missed something. But if so there are the small exception to the rule. Girls Aloud great? You must be joking. All they release is cover versions. Write you own damn songs, girls. And we'll see what happens.

I'm now thinking. The runner-ups always succeed better than the winners. Ray will go further than Leona.

G4 went further than Steve Brookstien.

Lemar went further than David Sneddon and Sinead Quinn.

Liberty X went further than HearSay.

And although they are not singing records Sam and Mark has gone further than Michelle McManus. What is she doing now? It could happen again. Time will tell.

It's a complete disaster. I see manufactured stars as rubbish. Girls Aloud rubbish, Liberty X rubbish, Leona rubbish.

I probably wouldn't be this angry is she wasn't going to number 1 at Christmas. Only consolation is that Take That will have the Christmas number 1 album.

My Christmas is ruined.

Laughing Well my Christmas has been cheered up no end by your naive posting! Quite how Leona is manufactured pop and Take That aren't is quite beyond me! At least with Leona she clearly has natural talent and 9 million people voted on whether she should be offered a recording contract or not. No such democratic rights with Take That - we were were simply bombarded with their 'music'...

My pleasure. Cool

Jump, I'll stand by you and I think we're alone now - so how can you say all they do is covers...

He also seems to have missed out Will Young off his runner-up list; indeed, the programme on Saturday sums it up; whatever happened to Gareth Gates?

Will Young won - somewhat unexpectedly. Gareth was the runner-up.

Er... exactly? That's what Hall was trying to say.

It's not always the case that runner-ups eclipse the winners; Will Young has been more successful than Gareth Gates. Girls Aloud have been more successful than flops One True Voice. etc.

Yes it works out about 50/50 id say - sometimes the winners are more successful, sometimes the runners up are.

I was so shocked when Will won Pop Idol - I thought it would be Gareth but always preferred Will.

Life Got Cold. Many reviewers insulted the track saying it ripped-off the Oasis hit "Wonderwall". The similarities to the Oasis classic were noticeable, even though Girls Aloud dismissed the claims.
