Worst final ever - not about the finalists at all, just about patting themselves on the back!
Westlife and Take That were so unneccessary - and I always hate the attention they give the bad auditions at the business end of the series.
However, nice to see Shaun and the final 12 do deserve their appearance.
Really though it proves they should have three in the final - it's so padded out with effectively just one performance per part.
As for the songs - frankly I'm bored tonight with three swing songs and three big ballads. Opening with something they've done before wasn't a good way to start either.
I'd say Ray is in the lead - if he wins it it's down to the second song, if he loses it's down to the third!
Leona - the song choice has ruined her chances. She's chosen three vocally challenging songs which show off her range to perfection - but frankly they are boring songs. Leona's best performances have been when she's been out of that comfort zone and doing something different to things like the Abba song.
Hate to say it - but Ray is going to win unless Leona absolutely nails the Kelly Clarkson song!
P.S. Loved Louis saying tonight Ray proved he wasn't a one trick pony - after doing three swing songs!

I do feel it was stretched out a bit to far, should have just been one hour. The auditionees were hilarious. I personally am not really bothered who wins as i wanted Eton Road to win, but ill go with Leona.

I have the complete opposite opinion to you BB, I think it's been a very entertaining final so far, and it was nice to have so many different things going on. Loved the performance at the end with the final 12. Pity Dionne didn't get a chance to sing on her own though.

She seems a very sweet natured girl, who is probably bags of fun with her friends but hasn't really got much confidence when speaking in public. Of course this may be her downfall in the business, and certainly something she needs to work on.

Yes, they put together a really good final, certainly for entertainment value. I'm not that bothered about the result, but would prefer Leona overall. Great show all the same.

As for the final, yes it was dragged out far too much - I can understand a 90 minute show when you have 8+ acts left but it didnt need more than an hour and 2 songs each really.
The result is also dragged out a bit at an hour - 45 minutes would be enough.

I've found tonights final very entertaining. What really cracked me up is when the bad auditionees were on and one of the women missed her part (she was the granddaugher to Edna I think). Not a fan of Ray, but then I'm not a fan of swing. Leona is a f*****g excellent singer, although the non stop big balads are letting her down a little. If I'm not mistaken however, Simon chooses their songs, so I suppose it isn't their fault.
It's certainly causing some entertainment in my house too in the form of a family feud over who's going to win. All the females are round the Sky box constantly voting for Ray, and all the males are on their mobiles constantly voting for Leona
