What. A. Joke. Ray should've gone tonight - although at least Leona is still in.

Hopefully being up against Ray will make it easier for Leona to win - but remember Pop Idol, the outcome to these shows isn't always as obvious as it was last year. Having said that, I've definately not dreaming of a Swingin' Christmas!

Just thought tonight that it's the first series where the top three hasn't seen a judge have one act each.

Actually I think Ray deserves his place in the final more than Ben who has been pretty over rated from day 1. Made me laugh tonight though about Ray being the outsider and dark horse - wasn't he the favourite ahead of the live shows?

I think Ben had two average performances tonight while Ray and Leona both had one good and one not so good. Vocally I couldn't fault Leona on her first song - but it nearly put me in a coma!

Notice tonight also how we had songs that the previous winners had sung in their final performances.

It's got to be Leona to win - I might actually vote next week!

Talking of voting I'm getting sick of the pathetic "to close to call" comments throughout the series. I don't recall a single vote in three series which was clear from the outset.

LOL! Every week she tells us that the vote is the "closest vote yet"

I really hope Leona does win. Ray doesnt deserve it as he isnt anywhere near as good. Ray almost didnt make it through to the live finals in the first place - remember Simon sent him home and then brought him back and made it a final 8 not final 7 during the bootcamp stages.

I kept thinking earlier "If Ben gets through, it will be tough on Leona but at least someone with talent will win" but now I've seen that anything can happen - Ray could win this thing Confused Shocked Sad Evil or Very Mad

The majority of the X Factor audience seem to be a right bunch of weirdos - first Steve Brookstein (dear Lord), then Shayne Ward (oh woopeee doo) and now maybe Ray. If he wins it, let's face it he won't have a career and the X Factor could be dead very soon.

You have the intelligence to make that call - a lot of the viewers believe whatever Kate tells them, clearly. And to be honest if I was running the X Factor I'd say it too. It is a business you're running after all, so why not? Laughing

Ray will win because he's young compared to Leona who should win... a poor final and it was confirmed on the xtra factor that 65% thought it was the wrong two in the final

It will only be a poor final if Leona doesnt win!

What do you mean Ray is young compaired to Leona? Both are in the 16-24 category so in the same age range!

I really hope Leona does win Jez but these competitions without fail have surprise results. I just hope this time someone with real talent wins - Leona could save the X Factor.

Ray to win! Very Happy

One thing Ray will have which Leona probably won't is local support - just as Scotland were credited with keeping in the McDonald brothers Liverpool got Ray through on Saturday night.

It's always much more difficult for a Londoner to get the local support others do - and the London based media often forget this.

True, but perhaps she would gain support if she showed any sign of having a personality. The girl is extremely dull when not singing.

Personally I'd be watching her sing, not too bothered about the interviews - not sure many people would be to be honest. I don't think interviews are included on albums are they? If not, then I don't think there's a problem Wink
