Smug Simon just really didn't seem like he wanted to be there tonight. I think after the reaction to last week's events it may have finally clicked the public don't value his opinion as must as he'd like to think.


And the MacDonalds deserved to stay tonight, but as soon as they are in the bottom two they are out. I think Robert will go next week though.


As for tonights show - far too long. The sickening "Vote for me because I've had such a hard life" VTs went on forever, and with alot of the performances I was bored half way through - though it's better than the usual one verse one chorus situation!

Still don't like the theming, but at least tonight it wasn't restricted to one artist. Can only get worse though next week with Westlife - I expect they'll go for boybands.


P.S. Is there a "Westlife Record of the Year" show this year?

Also, I guess the theme will be ballards if Westlife are the celebrity guest next week, at least it'll make a change from past it old men!

Next week is No.1's so quite a wide variety there!

Gutted Nikitta (?) has went. Simon was clearly upset.
Theres something about Ray I just dont like, he seems big headed and smug.

I think Mrs O has been on the cooking sherry- boy did she wind Simon up- he's just stormed off the ITV2 set now

I dont know about anyone else but im getting fed up of Louis and Sharon and their arguments with Simon. It all seems so staged.

Both of Louis acts were below average tonight, although the MacDonalds were better than usual. He wanted to send Ray home so i'll give him that.

Nikkita was one of the best so should never have been in the bottom 2 never mind sent home. I think Simon and Sharon made a big mistake there.

Its all very well for people to say vote the MacDonalds to win to piss Simon off, but it will make a mockery of the entire thing. Will anyone honestly buy their records if they get the recording contract?

Leona is the one with the most talent by miles so IMO she should win.

that bit at the end with Sharon with her feet on the table and Louis laughing at Simon while he was on stage with his two acts was particularly classless I thought.

Best show of the series so far I thought, hard to pick between the acts, they all put in good performances. Also the format is at it's best when a judge is placed in the dilemma of having to choose between their own acts.

The format is settling down a bit, no chat with the guest at the start, no guest involvement in the VT's , and less specific themes, ie. Love songs, no.1's, back to pure X-Factor.

I'm losing respect for Simon now, after having seen him as very honest towards the start of the series.

I can understand Louis/Sharon being happy about him having 2 acts in the bottom two - it's his fault, he asked for it when he was cocky and decided to put more emphasis on the inter-judge competition over the acts.

Tonight I thought Leona was the best again, and Robert was great too. Eton Road's performance was their worst yet but I still really like them and want them in the final.

I want Ben and the McD's gone next, don't care about the order, then all we need is Robert gone before the predictable Leona/Ben/Eton Road final battle.

Poor nikitta, its a shame simon is only concentrating on leona, despite her being excellent.

Yep. It looked as if he had just thrown something on. Awful.

Can't believe he saved Ray over Nikitta. Gutted.
