I think it's pretty much accepted that this year's winner will have a career shorter than Steve Brookstiens!
Notice how the judges are hardly looking beyond winning the competition when commenting on performances, while in the last couple of series they focused more on their long term potential.
Leona, Ben and Eton Road would be the ones I expect to top each category. Leona would be my choice - but I wouldn't want to give Cowell the satisfaction.

I literally thought Simon was going to do his masterful march over to Louis and thump him last night.

I see "Sideshow Bob" aka Ashley was on GMTV this morning- god I have never heard so much fawning by Fiona Phillips in my life. The end was roughly...
" Well I cannot wait to see you again with your first album".
If she wants a album, that hopefully means nobody else does.

It seems they're doing themed nights depending on the guest who turns up/is available. We could have Sir Cliff Richard night soon
.
Anyway, I'm sure Simon will let bygones be bygones this Saturday...

Which is why The X Factor was always superior - up until now!
As I've said throughout the series, The X Factor's strength has always been the different genres the contestants offer!
