I do love watching this show I have to admit but anyone thinking they are in search of the next best singing taltent is sadly mistaken.

There is a premium line to apply for the show, when someone who normally gets a lot of votes they put they in the bottom two of the live shows (they say in o particular order so the bottom one is the bottom one but not the other one) so that people ina blind panic to get their favourite through will vote more and more and then one single/album from the winner and as soon as they hit the"terrible" position of not top five in the charts they dump them as their work is down for them, making them truck loads of cash.

It starts on the 18th? A Friday?

My first thought on seeing this was that ITV wouldn't be stupid enough to launch it against the Big Brother final - then I realised they probably would!

A deliberate mistake I assume though!

Quite why the topic starter has 18th in the description of the title is a mystery Confused

Probably just a mistake - but The X Factor is a Saturday night show, so who would be silly enough to think it would launch on a Friday?

ITV won't put it against BB, they'll schedule it a day after the final to get all its viewers who are looking for something new to watch.

On Hallam FM this morning, a group of Barnsley "ladies" were off to Boot Camp, looks like the way they were talking they've got Sharon as the mentor for the next couple of days.

makes sense- 3rd series, judges get the group they haven't had yet.

So Sharon gets the groups, Simon the under 25's and the camp irish pixie gets the over the 25's. Twisted Evil
