The groups always seem to be the weakest category as 2 groups went within the first 2 weeks last year. Maybe thats something they need to look at as the groups always seem to be the weak link in the programme.

Eton Road will go a long way, I think. McD brothers, well, they won't last the distance, but for some reason they are surviving.

I think it's a deliberate money saving exercise myself - that's 10 less people they have to deal with!

I laughed at Kate legging it across the stage. Brilliant. Laughing

Anyway, the voting is bloody farcical this year - actually, it always has been. Remember Maria?

But I just don't understand why anybody would vote for the MacDonald Brothers.

Anyway, no great loss with 4 Sure. Although they were one of the better groups.

Firstly, don't underestimate the Scottish vote - and secondly, the judges have put them into the role of the underdog!

The funniest thing both this week and last was the reaction on Louis Walsh's face when they got through!

It will be interesting to see what happens next week. If the MacDonalds go then Louis will be the first judge to ever lose 3 of their acts in the first 3 weeks of the show.

Am I right in thinking Kelly Brook was Simon's first choice for host? I like Kelly, she'd have been brilliant.

I do. She's heavily criticised in certain parts, but she's no worse than people like Davina McCall. She handles the show very well - and can be funny at times. Even if it is unintentional, like tonight. Laughing

Why do you like Kelly? Actually don't answer that. Rolling Eyes

No wonder she was axed from Love Island - awfully wooden presenter.

Well I don't like her for any reasons you're implying, that's for sure! Wink

Nah I just like her, I think she's a really good and genuine presenter, she got some flack when she started on The Big Breakfast but she was really good after a while. Kate was a bit out of her depth when X Factor first started but she's become alright. Nothing special.

Hmmm she covers over producer / director mistakes better than some other 'pros' could hope to!

I like Kate hosting, i can see her taking over from Davina on Big Brother for some strange reason.

I remember the days when she used to host Pop Idol Xtra on ITV2. I always thought she was quite a good presenter.
