"Lottie's at it again! Lottie's at it again!"

Oh sorry, memories from last year already flooding back. Laughing

I like the audition stage and despite what people say, its fun to see the judges argue. OK, technically its not meant to be about the judges but it still creates watchable TV.

According to Radio Times, next Saturday we will get a special programme, "The X Factor - one year on" looking back at how last year's contenders and auditionees have fared over the last twelve months.

So it could be the week after this years series starts?

Saw an ad for this earlier which was quite underwhelming actually - just a thunderstorm type sequence with the giant X sign being dropped down into the centre, and then a voiceover saying the show was back soon. I'm sure there's being more imaginative comeback ads for X Factor before with the judges actually starring themselves, or could that have been Pop Idol? Confused

No that one with the judges was for X Factor. It was shown closer to the last series starting. The promo you're referring to which is being shown at the minute is a recycled version of the one which was shown for the final at Christmas. It's exactly the same but without the words "The Final" at the end! How cheap!

The show on the 12th is "The X Factor:One Year On". It's looking how last years contestants have got on since the final.

Exactly! However, there are some members of the GBP that are so deluded that this will lead them into the roads to fame and fortune, where the streets are paved with gold forever and ever. Of course, for some it hasn't turned out too badly (Will Young? Liberty X?), but for the rest of 'em, they've faded back into obscurity and their supposed day jobs. Darius Danesh is still around, he often appears in stage-musicals these days Confused
