Personally I'd rather they stripped the audition stage out every night for a week and then moved to it's regular Saturday slot once Boot Camp kicks in!

I dont as we'd have to make time to watch it every night then, its fine the way it is.

Two episodes of the X Factor scheduled for 30th Spetmeber, when the boot-camp stage starts.

Excellent. I've missed 2 episodes so far and I've already seen enough auditions.

Auditions best so far this year, than previous series.

Ooh, underhand tactics tonight with The X Factor starting five mins early (the anno did at least mention that) I guess to scupper what BBC One are up to. Wonder if Ant & Dec were pleased at having five mins shaved over their show?

Good Lord are ITV that scared of Noel Edmonds return to Saturday night on BBC1? They'll probably win the night anyway because BBC1 just have a film for the early evening and Noel will be against The X Factor, but later in the evening with the return of Casualty who knows.what'll happen.

Is a million pound winner on Millionaire enough to beat Casualty these days?

The "Beat the Boys" racing segment was dropped though - presumably in response to Richard Hammond's accident this week. Ant and Dec's show though was only just over an hour long in the end - it didn't start till nearly 6.10pm either!

The reason it started early was because Saturday Night Takeaway finished early, and that was because the double acts race item was dropped

That really is the million pound question, to be honest I went off the show and there isn't anything they can do to entice me back. However with The X Factor anchoring Saturday night for ITV that could be the kick it needs.

Did The X Factor have two editions on Saturday night last time for the boot camp?

I think Millionaire needs a bit of a refresh. The graphics and studio are 8 years old and the format is exactly the same.
