This was during Caroline's (is that her name? I've forgotten her already) performance and is infuriating Twitter! Laughing

Obviously a member of the production team just informing Louis he's voting last no?

Although I've forgotten how the order of judges votes work to be honest...

It is important to note that last year ratings were just below 2010 levels then experienced a notable decline as the live shows went on.

The live shows last year didn't have any controversial figures in it and I don't think its a coincidence that the figures went down. Jonny Robinson was the closest, but he was quite well liked and could actually hold a tune. There were also 16 acts last year, so too many to remember and he went out around week 4 or 5 after his first sing off. If Goldie had stayed in, it could have turned out differently.

Why would he have needed to be told that? It would have been obvious that he'd be last given that it was Gary and Nicole's acts in the bottom 2 and Dermot asks each one to vote anyway.

Frankie Cocozza?

Good start for the publicity machine tonight. Hadn't spotted the person talking to the judges before, maybe it was just more obvious tonight with the camera shot but it'll be good for the conspiracy theorists.

They do themselves no favours but I'd like to believe it was a runner just giving Louis his medication or checking he's still alive rather than giving him any information which would affect his vote - though I think it was pretty obvious that was how the vote would pan out. We've nine years of Louis and six series of Deadlock to work that out!

Hopefully Louis will get the chop at last next year to make way for Simon returning should X Factor USA be axed - though if it's a choice between Louis and will.I.am I think I'd stick with Louis.

You're falling into their trap Brekkie.

The show wants people to think it's Louis who makes the crazy decisions, when it's clearly Cowell and the producers who decide the likes of Wagner get though.

I think the agenda this week, was to make it look like a set up. I'm sure the producers decide who goes most weeks, and they'd inform the judges who goes a different way (ear peace?). The fact Louis was both asked for a different name in such a forced manor, and the tapping on the shoulder suggest to me, the story Syco wanted in the papers was 'X Factor fixed'.

They should really do something about the overrunning on the results show which seems to happen every week. I can't remember an episode where Dermot hasn't had to push the judges for their send home decision; he was very frustrated with Louis tonight.

But I don't think it did overrun, it was all done by about 56/57 minutes past. Rushing the judges is all part of the fakery.

Sorry overrun was the wrong word to use, should have said "the running out of time". But perhaps you're right and the rushing is all artificial. Either way, they really did run out of time tonight as we didn't see the leavers highlights like usual.

As pointed out on todays This Morning, Carolynne didn't get a best bits and Dermot didn't speak to her. I forgot they even did that, but they usually do, so that's a clear indicator that it overran.

The Xtra Factor picked up all that slack anyway. I thought each judge had a time limit before Dermot would be forced to go to dead lock anyway?

But can't they 'Make time'? I seem to recall something happening on BGT where Simon Cowell put his foot down and think it overran then due to him saying 'We will make time' or something to that affect.
