Not at all - it's just the way they decided to put them together, and was quite effective IMO.
Highest ever ratings for a launch episode last night with over 11m watching. Same old problem though for me with the audition episodes - show all the bad in detail, then rush through the good without even letting us here them sing.
Ok, just thought it was a little strange! But each to their own.
Yeah i saw the ratings - a 12.56m 5 minute peak apparently at 20:35! So great figures!
And one thing that does annoy me is the montages of the judges saying yes and you don't even hear the people sing!
Anyone else think that the ending to the X Factor was a bit strange.
Had Peter Dickinsons over the top "This year" followed by a montage of clips. Then the Cheryl Cole clip then more clips . Then finished by Dermot saying "Next Week at .... on ITV1" Strange I thought!
