According to overnight ratings, the Saturday night show was watched by an average of 14.05 million viewers (peak 15.4) and the Sunday night show achieved 17.16 million viewers (peak 19.4), which is The X Factor's biggest audience ever.

So the elusive 20 million mark is yet to be broken...at this rate I could see it getting there next year. The Royal Wedding will probably get about that as well.

With a peak of 19.4 Million for the final, and high viewing figures throughout the series I cant see them axing it (unfortunately!)

I don't think it will be going anytime soon, what with the final peaking at 19 million. Smile
