I assume there was a problem which delayed the start of Wagner's performance. For those who didn't see it after the his intro the camera cut to Dermot who was standing next to Louis, who asked Louis what he expected from the performance (essentially filling for about 20 seconds) before the start of the performance.

It looked like perhaps somebody had run on to the stage? Wagner was trembling at the start and kept looking camera right and mouthed something at somebody.

There were performers in the ceiling maybe they weren't ready..

Was it me, or was Wag-ner shaking his head at his own performance while he was doing it?

He always does that, it's either habit or part of his act Laughing

(and Cheryl) tonight. What on earth will they make of Konnie Huq!?

They said on The Xtra Factor it was supposed to feature a carriage, but they couldn't get it on stage in time - so why they didn't schedule him to be on after a break instead I don't know. Indeed the whole running order quite questionable - up until last year even as numbers dwindle they tried as best as possible to go from one category to another, though with the odd exception. Now it's any older order and having two of Dannii's boys up first seems questionable. Also unfair all of Cheryl's girls have now closed the show.

Anyhow, back to what this forum is all about and from a presentation point of view not liking the tweaks to the intro to contestants.

Agreed, I thought perhaps a response to the "Viewer feedback session" Cowell held.

If Wanger and Katy are in the bottom two, then well it will first time some one will be saved on the 4th run

So Katie saved again and Aiden goes - nice publicity for the rest of the week me thinks. Laughing

Aiden the first real talent to go IMO - but not too surprised as Dannii seems to get the last pick of songs last night and Rocketman was just not that great. Cowell seems to have a thing for Katie though - usually he votes out people who repeatedly end up in the bottom two. And of course Aiden surely a bigger direct threat to One Direction, though both really competing for the third place in the final IMO.
